Capita LGS Fundraising Activities

To date we have raised £5,000 for Guide Dogs for the blind, more than £10,000 for Cancer Research UK and so far over £6000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

This is not where our fundraising ends, did you know that our staff have also raised money for World Aids Day, Harris Hospice, Comic Relief, Children in Need, MS, Ghurkha Welfare Trust, Stroke Association and Helen and Douglas House Hospice? And this list is by no means exhaustive…

Some of the activities that have taken place to raise funds for charities that people support locally have been fantastic. We had 2 members of staff dress as Pocahontas and John Wayne sell raffle tickets for a lunchtime buffet.

We also had 2 members of staff who organised a “Sexy Car Wash” dressed in their hot pants and managed to wash 22 cars, the mind boggles!

There have been so many fundraising initiatives carried out within LGS that you could write a book. All we would like to add is that it has been a fantastic effort by so many people across so many of our business centres and we are really proud of our people.
