Capita were awarded Corporate Training Partner (CTP) status by the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) in 2004. AAT is the leading training and membership body for accounting technicians and AAT’s CTP accreditation is recognition of Capita’s on-going training and development of its AAT students and full members.

Capita operates a range of business support functions on behalf of Mendip District Council. Capita has developed a thorough training and development scheme for its finance staff and the AAT Accounting Qualification plays an important role within this. The scheme enables school leavers joining the firm to gain the AAT Accounting Qualification and progress on to chartered accountancy without going to university.
